Roy Walker is well known to TV viewers through the ITV game show Catchphrase. Roy's career started at the age of 14 as a soprano in the celebrated Francis Longford Choir. He then became Northern Ireland Champion Hammer Thrower for two years and served seven years in the army before moving from Belfast to England and became a professional comedian.

In 1977 Roy came to national prominence through TV's 'New Faces' and received the highest mark ever given to a comedian.

In 1987 he became host of ITV's Catchphrase, and now regularly headlines concerts, theatre and cabaret engagement both in the UK and overseas.
